Our earliest memories included food.

We were taught to respect it, in all it's form. Where it came from.

How it was planted, harvested, and prepared. How it came to our tables, our plates.

How it nourishes our bodies, and our minds.

We have happy snippets of going to public market on Saturday mornings & discovering heirloom recipes.

Of coming home and proudly showing veggies we harvested as part of a school project.

Of travelling and discovering new flavors and learning new techniques.

We grew up believing that every meal is a celebration.

Of life.

Of people.

Of Providence.

Of the people whose hard work provided for the community.
